I'm confused about whether I can use the metro pass Carte Orange to get to Versailles. I'm planning to use my Museum Pass to get into Versailles, but didn't know if it also got you on the train to Versailles.
Leaving tomorrow for Paris and trying to nail down the details!!
Versailles is in Zone 4, so your Carte Orange pass would have to cover zones 1-4 to include a trip to Versailles. Otherwise, a separate r/t ticket on the RER to Versailles is only about 6 euro. There is also a 'combo' ticket for the RER+Chateau entry:

travelnut's suggestion about the "forfait loisiers" combo pass for Versailles + train is a good one. Depending on what length you purchase, you'll find that your pass cost will range from 10-15 Euro/day. If you're buying a 6-day pass, then using a day for Versailles is a good option, along with an RER ticket out and back. But for the 4 and 2-day passes, you might want to devote those days to the musuems in Paris, and go for the forfait loisier for Versailles.
Having been in Paris just recently, I got the impression that the Carte Orange had been replaced by the NaviGO card. Is that not the case?
