versailles by Pass...

If I buy the Paris Museum Pass, will it allow me into each part of the Versailles experience?? I considered buying it online, but was intimidated by the French language; English, German or Spanish I get--but not the French. Is the two day pass too brief for Versailles, N. Dame, Arc?? I may not save money, but maybe time. At Eifel Tower, if I have a reservation for 5 p.m., should I get in Res. line 15, 30 or 45 minutes before the reservation?? Is that reservation form also in French?? Still in the dark...

Ok ,, first thing first, yes the using the Museum Pass for Versailles will get you into most of Versailles,, There are private apartments that you have to pay extra for and by led by a guide, but do not worry about that, for most people the main palace, the Petite and Grand Trianons, and Marie Antionettes Hamlet is more then enough.
The thing is thoughs there is an extra charge for the formal gardens near the palace but ONLY on the days they do the Fountain shows, the extra fee is 8 euros, and the shows are on Saturdays and Sundays( so just don't go then if you want to access all the grounds and gardens and not pay extra). . There is absolutely no reason at all to buy the Museum Pass online, you just pay more. Buy it in Paris , you can buy it at the Tourist Information desk at the airport, or at almost any of the attractions it is accepted at, it makes sense to find a place close to your hotel that is not too busy to go and buy it at. It is not activated untill the first time you use it. I am not sure why you seem to be having trouble with language,, both the Versailles website and the one for the Museum pass are in english,, if not , just look up on top of page and click on the flag for english.. The Museum pass will save you time at Versailles( if you choose not to buy the ticket directly from the Versailles website) , Orsay and Arc,, but at Notre Dame it will not. The Towers of Notre Dame do accept the pass as payment but they do not allow you to skip the line there. It is a slow line too, they only let about 20 people up at once, so get there before it opens. The cathederal is free and so obviously the pass does not allow you to skip the line there either.. the line for the cathederal does move fairly steadily though.

With a two day museum pass, you can do/see a lot if you really, really want to. There are certain days of the week when the Louvre is open late. The last time to climb the Arc de Triomphe is usually pretty late as well. The Museum Pass will get you into everything at Versailes except the garden shows as Pat said. However, Pat is incorrect that the days with paid garden admission are only on weekends. This year they have added some weekdays. It has taken many people by surprise, including our friends who went with a museum pass and had to pay to get into the gardens. You can buy the museum pass when you get to Paris. No need to buy online. But here's a link to it in English:
