We'll be back in France in a couple of weeks and I plan on spending a couple of days walking the Verdun Battlefield (taking Christina Holstein's brilliant "Walking Verdun" book and IGN map #3112ET). Anyways, the Meuse-Argonne American Cemetery is less than 20 miles west, north-west of Verdun and is the largest American Military Cemetery in Europe. I'm familiar with Verdun, but have never made the drive to the M-A Cemetery. Are there any towns, cafes, private museums, et al along the way? Any non-Rick sites or experiences worth noting in the area? Merci pour votre aide et profitez jour!
