In doing some more research for my trip to Switzerland in September, I found out about this exhibit. For anyone who's an art lover, it seems like a fantastic exhibit to see. I had noticed there were a number of people going to Switzerland in the next couple of months, so I thought I would share in case it was of interest. I hadn't planned on visiting Basel, but this might take me there.
Van Gogh in Basel

We went to the exhibit a few weeks ago. We are huge Van Gogh fans and really enjoyed it. If you are planning on going I would look into getting tickets early. When we purchased our tickets we were assigned an entry time into the museum. We could enter any time during the hour slot we were given and could stay as long as we wanted once inside. I can not remember if it says anything about that on the website or not, but just did not want anyone to make a special trip and have it sold out for the afternoon. If you are traveling by rail, the SBB is also offering railaway specials from many cities in Switzerland to the exhibit with tickets provided.
