Valencia is not covered in the 2007 Spain RS book. Does anyone have any recommendations for places to stay (not too expensive) as well as any good sites to see or places to go?Thanks!

Dear Anna,
It's important to know when you would be going. Right now the ~150 year old America's Cup sailboat races are in Valencia and I'm sure there isn't a room at any price anywhere near. The huge regattas from all the countries trying to win the Louie Vuitton races in order to race Switzerland (who won it in 2003 from New Zealand)for the cup has been going all spring. The actual America's cup races will go from 6/23 to 7/7. Since the New Zealand sailboat just won the Louie Vuitton cup, many more hoards are coming from New Zealand to see the final races.
Valencia has spent the last 3 years building more hotels, new docks, more restaurants, etc to prepare for this, I'm sure great stuff will be available at great prices after July 7th.
