Hello, I'm flying into Valencia on Aug. 23rd. I only need 1 night and then I'm joining a tour for La Tomatina for the next 2 nights. Because there's a festival in the area, many of the hostels are booked and/or require at least 3 nights stay. I've been looking at the hotel Kris Abadía. Since I'll be flying in from an overnight flight which I don't know yet if I'll be able to sleep on, I'd prefer to take it easy the night before the tour and rent a private room. Have any of you stayed at Kris Abadía? Was the walk from the train to the hotel safe during the day? What are the safe and not safe areas of Valencia? I don't plan on walking around at night alone.
