My final destination is Valencia. I am flying in to Barcelona arriving at 19:25. I think there is only one train 20:30. Can I possibly make this? Is the train station close to the airport. I don't even know if I have the right station when I look at bahnhafas.com. This is a work trip and I get zero support. Anyone who knows this route, your help would be awesome.

Depending on when you arrive, you may have as many as three trains to choose from. You have the run you mentioned, a Euromed run at 20:30 (every day EXCEPT Saturday), another Euromed run 21:00-00:05 (Sundays ONLY), and the Trenhotel 21:30-00:49 (daily). The two Euromed runs cost about 40 Euro...the Trenhotel about 32 Euro. It can be difficult to get tickets for the Trenhotel, since it's a popular overnight train with sleeping accommodations that ends up in Malaga. Try booking tickets on-line now at renfe.es, calling bahn.de, or on line at raileurope.com (you'll pay more, but at least you'll have tickets.) All three trains leave from Barcelona-Sants station. I doubt you'll make the 20:30 train, but you should be OK with the 21:00 train or later. Make sure you grab a cab..it's only about 9 miles...the station comes before you get to Placa Catalunya downtown.

Take Norm's advice and rush to the station. Catch the first train you can.
He thinks there is another later one.
If I got zero support, I would search for another job.
