VacationinParis Apartment

I have narrowed my search down to a few apartments and now need help deciding about the different areas.

One is in the 2nd Arrondissement Montorgueil district on rue Marie Stuart.

The other is just between St. Michel and Odeon in the 6th district.

The other is in the 2nd as well on Sebastopol.

What do you all think? Pros and cons?

Jesse - I would choose the 6th but I don't think you will go wrong with any of them. You'd be near the Luxembourg Gardens which is one of my favorite places in Paris. We're using Vacation in Paris this summer too.

Jesse,

Personally, I almost always prioritize location above everything else. I would probably lean towards the one in the 6th. I would take an average apartment in a great location over a better one in a less desirable place ... but everyone has different priorities.

I've also rented from VacationinParis.com and found them very helpful. I stayed in the Marais on my last trip. You might want to call VIP and talk to them about the apartments. Explain what is important to you and they may be able to advise. Don't take too long deciding. Between the time I talked to them about what was available and the next day when I contacted them back to book, my first choice apartment had already been taken.

I'm sure that no matter what you choose you will have a great trip.

Agree with Laura--these VIP apts book up quickly. We are staying near the Montorgueil Market next month--our first choice was taken and this was over 3 mos ahead. Six months ahead is best. Last time we stayed on Rue Temple and even though it was not a "cute" street, we really enjoyed it--near some great markets and an easy walk to the Marais--actually on the edge of it. The people at VIP know the apts well and give good advice. Sebastopol could be noisy.
