Lots of folks have said on this Website that they like renting from Vacation-In-Paris since it is based in the US and fees can be paid in US dollars. I'm looking for recommendations from anyone who has rented a 2 or 3 bedroom place through them. A few friends and I (4 or 5 of us) will be visiting Paris for a couple of weeks in May or September 2009 (lucky us!). Our budget is up to $2000/week (less would be even better). Please let me know what you liked/didn't like about your apartment, where it was, if it matched their online descriptions, etc. Answer either online or by private message. Any help appreciated and thanks!
Look at the apartment reviews on the Slow Travel website--they have many reviews from Paris; probably from that agency or others that are based in the US>

I too have decided to use Vacation-In-Paris based on a recommendation from this help line. I sent them an email (I got on their web site) asking for what I needed (2 bedroom, with washer and hopefully dryer) they sent me a list of apartments to click on in all different locations and dollar amounts with those things.
Try contacting them directly. Good luck and Have a great time!

The apt we rented from VIP was exactly as shown on the website. It is also very helpful to talk with them if you have additional questions. As an example an apt available in the Montmarte area was very attractive and tempting to rent but we knew the location would not be good for us. If you have issues with noise the company in NJ will steer you to a quiet apt.If an apt shows signs of lots of wear they will inform you of this. The people we talked with in NJ have actually stayed in some of these apts and have at least seen them. We were uneasy about getting the key upon arrival but someone met us at the apt and showed us around and gave us info on use of the appliances. We will use VIP again. For best choice try to book more than three months ahead.
