Hey everyone,
Does anyone know of a wallet-friendly place for two people to spend a night in Lausanne? The hostels seem to be booked out, and I can't find anything for under $147 on the booking sights. Closer to $100 would be nice... though I realize this is Switzerland. Personal recommendations??

I wouldn't give up on the hostels. Keep trying and even go to the one 2 blocks from train station when you arrrive to see if they have any cancellations. It is called Lausanne Guesthouse and Backpacker, half guesthouse half hostel, vg place.

We stayed at the Riveria Lodge in Vevey last week and loved it. Very clean and quiet, beautiful setting right on the lake and town square. Washer/dryer on site, and a very well equiped kitchen.
