Hi! we are looking for some b&b, pension, guesthouse, or hostel for these dates. We didn't noticed it's exactly the weekend when the Oktoberfest get started. Are we supposed to sleep under a tree??? Help please!!!

Good luck - you're going to need it. Octoberfest = all rooms sold out, and prices skyrocket.
Unless you're willing to spend a fortune, you will probably do better to look for a room someplace further away but accessible via train.
BTW, I think "Octoberfest" is probably a misnomer....seems like now it runs from early SEptembet through the end of November. Septemberoctobernovemberfest?

Try this website and see if they can help you. It is all in English. The Octoberfest runs 20 Sept. to 5 Oct.

Try checking outside of the city as well and take transit in.
I think to get a decent room in Munich for Oktoberfest you have to book at least a year in advance, as crazy as that sounds. Even in that case you are paying around 100 - 200% more then any other time during the year.

Thank you every for your help. We've being checking the places all you guys gave me, but everything is so horribly expensive!!! Can't beleive it! We are paying the price of our inexperience... LOL
Anyway, we think we'll be looking for some place outside Munch. I{ve post a new topic, so any help you can gace us it's going to be really appreciated. Thanks again!

Most hotels are not taking reservations yet. I know on Venere.com reservations are only going to July 09.
I would wait until Sept to look for rooms.

If you haven't found anything yet, try the CVJM YMCA in Munich. Aside from a great price including breakfast, we really liked it! Good luck
