With many thanks to all who helped us plan our trip, we have had a wonderful 8 days in Portugal and are now in Spain. Tip for Madrid. Bus stations have been changed for Toledo and Granada. Granada Alsa lines now leave from Metro stop Line #6 Mendez Alvaro. Toledo from line #6 also but the Metro stop is Plaza Eliptica. By the way, we thought we would have a quick breakfast on our way to Toledo but the new and beautiful autobus station at Plaza Eliptica has only vending machines and no WC's. In Lisbon, special praise for Casa de Alentjo, a marvelous building, reminiscent of Italian Palazzo, meeting place for Alentjo people, tiles, fountains, murals and good food, good prices and excellent and inexpensive Borba wine.
