Can someone offer assistance, please?
I have posted 2-3 private messages recently and have recived a response from Rick's Helpline that indicates that I have a message, but I am unable to access those messages. I may have changed a setting on my Helpline address, but didn't think that would affect recipt of messages. Your assistance would be greatly appreciated; my e-mail address is [email protected] since I probably won't be able to receive messages via RIck's Helpline. Thank you. Ted
What happens when you click on My profile (new messages)? There are no settings on the Steves site that would cause you not to receive PMs. Could have something to do with antivirus program or filters on your computer. Try turning them off to see if that makes any differences.
Ted, Could you provide some further information on the method you're using to check for PM's? If you have messages waiting, a black "New Messages" flag should be displayed next to the words "My Profile". If you click on the "My Profile" link, the messages should be displayed. If this doesn't work, it would be a good idea to contact the Webmaster at the link shown on this site, using regular E-mail. Good luck!
You had to log in to post your question. While you are still logged in view your profile. Your PMs will be there. Click on them to read them. You can't do any of that if you are not logged in.
It may depend on how you are logged on. Seems I couldn't access when I was on aol, but if I went on directly through IE or Mozilla or something, I could retrieve messages.
