Unable to print Thalys tickets

I purchased Thalys tickets from Cologne to Paris for October and am unable to print them when I get to the final screen. My credit card has been charged so I know the transaction went through an we have seat assignments. Is there a problem with printing in the USA?

Go back to thalys.com and select "manage my reservations", enter your reference number and your name, and you will be able to print out your tickets again. The tickets are adobe PDF files you so you can print them and also save them to your hard drive, enabling you to print additional copies in case you loose one. If you don't already have the Adobe reader software installed on your computer, it can be downloaded for free here: http://tinyurl.com/a9sbq

That's exactly what I do. I am able to bring up the reservation and list our names and birthdates and when I push the final "print your tickets", I get an error message

I also downloaded a newer version of Adobe, etc. If I am unable to make this work, will I be able to print the tickets once I get to Germany? I won't be using the tickets for 2 weeks after I arrive in Germany.

What does the error message say? Does the e-ticket appear on the screen at all? Was a confirmation email sent to you when you made the initial purchase, if so the PDF might be attached to the email.

The error message: Because of a technical problem we cannot give you access to your tickets. Please excuse us and come back later. I have tried again many times but receive the same message. I can access the seat numbers and they have charged my credit card. I am going to try to have my son print them when he gets to Germany in a couple of weeks or try to pick them up when we get to Germany in October. I have emailed the rail company but have no response yet.

Claire, I emailed Thalys.com last fall and it was a week or so before I received a reply. It was stated that they had only received the email at that later date. The customer service counselor's name was Nicole Gerard, and she gave me the phone # for the French booking centre 0033 892 35 35 36. I was able to print my tickets at home, but I didn't receive a confirmation email, as was stated when buying the tickets; however, I did get the page which contained the reference # of the transaction, and the details of it, so we didn't actually need the email confirmation...and had no problem using the tickets afterall. If you don't hear something after 2 or 3 days, I would probably try it again, or call the booking centre.

Claire...I don't know if this will work, but have you tried right-clicking on the icon for your tickets? You may be able to download the pdf file to your own computer (put it on the destop, where you can easily find it) then print it out that way.

Thanks Norm. I don't actually see the tickets (they give an example of what they look like). The last instructions I receive is a "create a print of your own ticket" which brings up a request for birthdates, then a "confirm the dates" screen and when I click on that is when I get the error message. I did try to right click as you suggested but wasn't successful. They did email me to tell me that there is a problem with their website and they are working on it so I will just wait and maybe try to call them in a few days. The date is the end of October so I have some time.
