Tyrolean music and slap dancing

I'll be staying in Fussen and Mittenwald for a few days and would like to hear some Tyrolean music and see slap dancing. Can anyone recommend some places to go to experience this? Thanks, Judy

Judy, The only place in that area where I've seen that sort of thing is at the Hofbrauhaus in Munich (large ballroom on the top floor, where Hitler used to hold his rallies). Your post reminded me National Lampoon's European Vacation (part of which I watched yesterday), where the slap dancing gets a bit "out of hand". That's one of my favourite parts of the movie! Happy travels!

Gasthof Fraundorfer in Garmisch-Partenkirchen. On most nights, there's a guy playing an accordion, and some kids do a quick little dance two or three times a night. PS- Their potato bacon soup is heavenly.

I 2nd Tom's recommendation - Gasthof Fraundorfer in Garmisch-Partenkirchen had a great slap dancing show. We stayed there in the back cottage - the hotel and restaurant are great. It's a cute town and we used it as a base to go to Mount Zugspitze. If I remember correctly - the owner's son and grandson were the performers in the show. Very friendly nice place to stay. Well worth the trip.

Thanks, Everyone, for your suggestions. Gasthof Fraundorfer will be on our list of places to go to for German entertainment.
