Are we trying to cram too much in in two weeks and which place would you eliminate? Thanks!
You would have roughly three days average in each plus two or so travel days. to me thats do-able. - although you will never see it all. I think they all deserve more days, but three days does make sense. Luzern itself could be cut to two days, but you can get up into the Alps from there
Thanks so much- your advice helps!
This is a lot of territory to cover. You did not mention your mode of travel - train or car. In any event, you will spend a great deal of time traveling between destinations. Munich and Salzburg are close and there are many, many wonderful villages to visit outside of each city. Lake Lucerne is also beautiful and you can do a day trip up into the Alps from there or Mount Pilatus. Vienna is the longest distance and very much a BIG city. If you want to actually experience the most in each area, you may want to do more research and determine your interests in each place.
