Trying to find a well respected shuttle service between CDG and Paris. HELP

Hello, I had previously booked a round trip shuttle transfer between CDG and my hotel in Paris through Rick Steves' recommended Golden Air. At the time there were two of us that were going to use the shuttle, but now I'm flying solo and the 30 and 39 euro per person fee, respectively for both transfers, seems a bit too much for just one person (please note I am using a shared shuttle service and not a private car). I was hoping someone else here would know of any other reputable shuttle van companies that have better rates. I saw that paris-shuttle.com had very good rates, but don't know anything about their reputation. Please help. Leaving for Europe next week and need to book ASAP.

FYI, I prefer taking a shared shuttle and not the train/metro combo or taxi (more expensive). Thank you!

I've used Paris Shuttle three times (one roundtrip, and one one-way) and not had any complaints.

Gabriel,

Have a look at This page for lots of choices on Shuttles. You could also check the Paris or France Guidebooks as there are listings there.

I've found that the train/Metro com is actually less expensive than all of the Shuttle services that I've looked at so far. The cost of the RER "B" to Gare du Nord (or other stations) is only about €8.50 and the ticket is also good for the Metro as I recall (as long as you don't exit the system, and within a specific time frame.

Good luck with the Shuttles and happy travels!

Thank you for recommending Paris Shuttle. Ken, I'm going to be carrying too much and don't want to haul all of my stuff on the train/metro, which is why I opted for the shuttle. And thanks for pointing out the Google search, which is something I already did previously. Again, just wasn't sure if any of the services that popped up on the search were reputable. Thanks again for all your help.

Id suggest asking your hotel who they use for a shuttle and even ask them to arranage it.Ive found that since they deal with the same company for shuttles and taxis they get reliable service.

It has been my experience that asking one's hotel to book their shuttle can be a lot somewhat expensive than booking it oneself. The hotel, after all, has to make something on the transaction.

I've already booked my shuttle through Paris-shuttle and only had to pay 27 Euro each way. Not bad considering what I was about to pay for Golden Air.

Do not ever use Golden Air. They are terrible. We have travelled to Paris for 20 years, and only used them once ... never again..!!!
