Hi, I understand that we need to bring a light raincoat as we will get wet when we visit Trummelbach falls . My question is will our shoes get pretty wet too? If it is then we'll bring extra flip flops. Thanks
I've visited the falls a couple times, and didn't need a raincoat, nor did my shoes get wet. The only thing that got significantly wet were my glasses.
I agree with Michael, we did not get wet, it can be slippery so i would not wear the flip flop for the visit.
I agree, flip flops maybe slippery and your feet would probably get cold.
You may also want to wear a jacket. We wore the medium weight fleece jackets and were fine.
JB is spot on. It is misty and parts are quite steep and uneven. Don't know about flip flops, I wouldn't wear them on a bet. But lots of people do. On any waterfall, even the Giessbach Falle just down the Brienzersee, I'd be afraid of both losing my footing and breaking the toe thing on the flip flops.
