We will be traveling from Paris to Colmar in one day and we were just wondering which route would be more picturesque. Also would there be any detours or towns worthy of having a quick visit for a meal or rest break eg.Troyes, Reims or Chalons-en-Champagne.

All 3 you listed plus Nancy. However, you can't see them all in one driving day and the one(s) you select will dictate your route.

Thanks Kent,
We were just hoping to determine which would be a more picturesque a route to choose - either via Troyes or via Reims - Maybe from what you say though all are quite worthy of a visit.
