Trip to Spain

Hi folks, Plan to be in Spain from April 17th to April 28th 17-20 in Madrid, then two days in Cordoba/Sevilla/Granada and Valencia. Any tips/fellow travellers? All my stays are in HI - Remus from Seattle

Thanks for your reply. What are the best flamenco bars , other "unusual" or "local" activities in any of those places. Valencia came with the freq.flier ticket !! Did not choose to.. but that for the encouragement... not much about it even in Rick Steves Spain book. Would really appreciate any and all info. Thanks Remus

Cordoba is not worth two days. At best one and an afternoon is fine if in a but of a hurry. An early train to Cordoba and late train onto Seville would work be adequate.

Looks good. You could stop in Cordoba for just the day and continue on for 3 nights in Sevilla. Glad to see you'll be stopping in Valencia. We really liked that city and will return there - not touristy just a nice city. A lot of people give it a miss and we don't know why(?).

For more Valencia info: On this web site go to Plan Your Trip, Where in Europe, click on Spain, Additional Resourses, click on Valencia. Lots of info there. Also, check out other guide books at the library or elsewhere. If you are in Sevilla during the April Fair week there are all sorts of activities going on. Lots of colourful dresses & costumes, equetrian events and bullfights daily (If you're interested). Good travels!
