That's tough. For Berlin, Amsterdam and Paris you'd need at least 3 days each. Plus travel time... that's your 10 days.

I would go first to Berlin by train. After that to Amsterdam by train. From there to Paris by train. Fly back from Paris to Warsaw. I doubt they have direct flights to Lodz. By train from Warsaw to Lodz. This order makes the most logistical sense. It also graduates the cities with conclusion of Paris. Berlin is big, a mishmash of very modern and old, a lot of to see but not easily walkable. In Amsterdam you get feeling of smaller town than it really is. Beautiful buildings, canals, narrow streets, very walkable. And Paris is the cream of it.

OK... train to Berlin. Stay three days. Visit the main sights of Berlin and Potsdam. Then train to Hamburg (90 minutes train ride only). Stay three days: One for Hamburg, one for a day-trip to Lübeck and one for a day-trip to Lüneburg. You don't just only want to see the big and international cities, you also want to see the real German life (in two of the most beautiful small cities/towns). Then train or air to Amsterdam. 3 days minimum required as well. Then train to Paris. 3 days is the minimum here as well. From there train to Frankfurt (4 hours) and on to the Rhine river valley. Probably stay over in Bacharach. 3 days minimum incl. one day for the Mosel river valley. Then fly back to Lodz from either FRA or CGN or DUS.

Bhavuk, The Itinerary suggested by Andreas is a good starting point, although by my count that will take at least 12 days and you specified that you only have ten days for the trip. Could you clarify whether you'll be returning to Lodz at the end of the trip or returning to India? I haven't checked budget flight options from Lodz to other places, but you could also consider something along these lines.... > Flight, Lodz to Amsterdam > Amsterdam (2 nights) > Train, Amsterdam to Paris (about 3.5 hour trip) > Paris (3 nights) > Train, Paris to Munich (about 6 hour trip) > Munich (3 nights) > Flight to Lodz or ? There are many ways your Itinerary could be arranged, and this is only one suggestion. When is this trip taking place? What type of sightseeing are you interested in (Museums, Galleries, etc.)? Happy travels!

Hi, The train from Warsaw-Berlin is a special train for that route, 6+ hrs, where reservations are mandatory, day/night. I've done it, day,..an interesting ride.
