How far from paris to rothenberg then how long the bus taking from rothenberg to munich. I plan to buy flexipasse for 2 from ricksteves'store,trip starts june 11, 6 nights in paris then on the way to germany on june 18.-i am going to order the pass in march,in case things change from now to june.my plane will be leaving from nice on june 23. I would wait before buying railpassess. First, your relatively short trip probably doesn't even justify the expenxe of the pass. Secondly, you can buy tickets right now between Paris and Rothenburg o. d. Tauber Bahnhof for 39 Euros. Such advance sale, limited-capacity tickets are common at:

Advance tickets are not currently available for June, but be patient and check back often at the above webpage.
Once you're in Rothenburg, you and up to 4 friends can travel together within Bavaria all day for 28 Euros on a "Bayern Ticket" daypass.
I do not recommend the Romantic Road bus. It's boring and slow, and you get almost no time at all in the RR towns. Much better to use the train and regular buses to get around on a Bayern Ticket.
