I am planning a trip in Sept. leaving from Paris and travelling to Mont St. Michel, Ambosie, St. Emilion, Sarlat, and St. Jean De Luz. Can some one tell me the best and easist plan. Car or train and if I should change the order of travel. ie Sarlat then St. Emilion Thank you Ron
Speaking of car only, Sarlat prior to St Emilion will shave a bit more than an hour, keep you from driving the same road twice, and give you some better scenery. The downside is that the most direct routing skips Poitiers which is worth a stop. The train station at St Emilion is a couple of miles away at the bottom of a steep hill. That can probably be overcome somehow.
thanks Ed for the info
