Hi everyone, I am travelling to Switzerland in late June and I am trying to figure out how to get from Wengen to Venice. Wengen is not a sure thing yet and I am debating whether this is the best place to stay given that my next stop is Venice. Does anyone have any advice for me either in terms of travel options from Wengen or a better place to stay where I could travel to Venice without too much hassle? Thanks! Sawdah

It's a long train ride, though there is a pretty good night train option. Wengen is up in the mountains, where travel is slow, and far from Venice, so I'm not sure what could be better. Maybe flying from Zurich, were money no object.

You can easily get to Venice by train from Wengen. It takes about 7.5 hours and goes through some great scenery. Visit www.sbb.ch for train times. Wengen in late June is a great time to visit as there are lots of activities and the weather should be very good. For more information about wengen visit www.visitwengen.com or www.wengen.ch.
