Any advice for kid-friendly restaurants, allergen-free (dairy or eggs) food choices? If you have budget-friendly options, that would help too.

My friend who has a particularly odd allergy (citric acid) carried a card with her translated into the languages of the countries she visited that outlined her needs. The restaurants she went to were very helpful.
In Paris, I would suggest picnicing with the little ones. That way you can pick and choose. The french love their cheese and eggs. Depending on your length of stay, you might consider an apartment with a kitchen.
