Will be staying in Bruges and do not want to drive to Amsterdam, how would I travel best and most quickly. Is there any recomendation out there?

Take the train. From Brugges to Amsterdam is a 2 hour 45 minute journey, you need to change trains in Antwerp. Fare is 37 euros, no advance reservation necessary; simply purchase your ticket at the station on the day of your journey. Check schedules at the Belgian Rail site: http://www.b-europe.com
