i would like to find a two day tour of the above areas as well as a hotel to stay in that would be near both sites. any suggestions

The battlebus tours leave too early to get to Bayeux from Paris the morning of the tour. By train you will need to go the day before and spnd the night in Bayeux. We had a car and toured on our own, but have read nothing but good things about those tours. Will you have a car or cnsider one? Driving in Normandy is very easy.
