Hi, I'm planning to travel Berlin by early next year, then will head for Glashutte afterwards to visit the German Watch Meseum, because of my tight schedule, anyone can tell is doable to take a daytrip to Glashutte from Berlin directly? Thanks in advance for your valuable comment.
It's a 3h train ride, so, yes, it's possible. Maybe you can even squeeze in Weesenstein, which is just a few minutes away from Glashütte and offers an impressive castle. Here are some pics:

If you're going by train, you leave from Berlin Hbf. (central station) to Dresden Hbf., ca. 2+ hours. There, depending on which departure time, you change to the S-Bahn (subway).
Thank you very much for the information provided. Should I reserve the train tickets on the internet in advance or just buy it from the station at the date when i arrive. Also, is easy to get the train schedule & tickets price on the internet as well? Many thanks again!
You can find the schedules on the German Rail (Bahn) website. You can buy the ticket from Berlin to Glashütte directly from the Bahn online using that website. That way, you can get a discount fare for the same price as Berlin to Dresden alone, or a standard fare ticket for only a few € more than Berlin to Dresden. And you can get reserved seats for the Berlin to Dresden train. The trains from Dresden to Glashütte are not reservable.
Got it. Thank you very much indeed for all your useful information.
