Dear Travellers,
I and my husband would like to go for a journey to Paris & Barcelona at late January 2009. Any ideas of our 11-days itinerary? This is our first time visit, any side trips recommend to us if it is sufficient time but not a tight schedule.

For a first trip to Paris you may want to do 7 nights Paris and 4 nights Barcelona. You can do one or more day trips from Paris in the 7 days there, returning to Paris at night to sleep.You have a choice of how to travel from Paris to Barcelona: the fastest trains do the trip in about 9 hours.
