Does anyone have any suggestions regarding traveling north of Barcelona along Costa Brava and into southern France toward San Sebastian? We are a family of four and would appreciate any input about where to stay and what to see. Along with seeing the sights, we enjoy outdoor activities such as biking and hiking.
I'm guessing you know that San Sebastian is not in France but in Spain.
Janie, we drove from Barcelona to Costa Brava a few years ago. There is a lot to see and do, and the driving was easy and enjoyable. We stayed in an apartmentfor 3 days in L`Escala , near the sea. We visited Girona, Empuries, Cadaques. We then drove towards Andorra, and we stoped at Vall de Nuria on the way, there were a lot of outdoors activities there also.
Hello
I love Ampuriabrava and I'm recommending his visit some years ago since I found out. This on the Costa Brava, close to a natural protected area and is perfect for sightseeing by bicycle.
Staying in a fisherman's house on the edge of the channel is ideal
