Hello. I am traveling to Paris for a quick trip in the first week in Dec. I have stayed in the Rue Cler area before by myself several years ago. I really like this type of experience. I am taking a special woman to experience Paris for the first time for her birthday and our unofficial honeymoon. I am traveling on a tight budget so I am looking for budget accommodations while making a great first impression to her. Any help is appreciated. Thanks.

In Dec, you should be able to take advantage of off-peak-season rates. We liked both Hotel L'Empereur and its sister hotel, Hotel Muguet in the Rue Clare area.
