I am traveling in France in June with 3 friends. We are taking public transportation. We would like to travel from Paris to Albertville. Does anyone know the best train route to do so?

According to voyages-sncf.com, the official French National Rail site, depending upon your departure time you would either take a TGV from Gare de Lyon to Chambery or from Gare de Lyon to Lyon Part Dieu and then connect to a regional train to Albertville. The travel time varies from 3 1/2 to 4 1/2 hours.
