Travel in Austria

In Vienna, I find K&T Boardinghouse to have two properties with the best locations in town. The subway is out the front door, and grocery stores and restaurants are everywhere. Tina and Kaled are great hosts and Rick Steve used to stay with them. We stayed at the K&K Palais in Vienna in May,great location,five minutes from Stephensdom which is the heart of old town,just google K&K Hotels,in Salzburg we stayed at the Hotel Stadtkrug just across the bridge from old town,great owners and help with places to go and directions and restaurant recomendations,both hotels featured excellent breakfast.

I stayed at the Hotel Mozart in Salzburg and liked it very much. It's about a 10-15 minute walk to the Old City, family-owned and operated.
