My husband and I are traveling from Paris to Ramsteim Germany in June and we wanted to know what trian system or buses travel from Paris France to Ramstein Germany and how would we get a one way ticket?

If you book ASAP (up to 92 days allowed) on bahn.de, you can get a discount fare as low as €29.00 for Paris to Landstuhl (one connection in Saarbruecken). The standard 2nd class fare is €81.00. Check the Ramstein AFB site for bus connections from Landstuhl to the base.

You will not be able to purchase tickets for June on the DB website for a couple more weeks. But do so and print them out before you leave home. Very easy. Also, you'll probably want to use Landstuhl as your destination from Paris. The closest train station to Ramstein Air Base is in Ramstein-Miesenbach. But, to get there, you'll arrive by train in Kaiserslautern and take a city bus to Ramstein-Miesenbach. Not the best if you're traveling with luggage. I would suggest Landstuhl. There are city buses from Landstuhl to the air base as well. However, I would suggest a taxi. It's about a 10 minute ride. There are no air force buses that run off base.
