travel from Barcelona to valencia

Has anyone taken the bus to go to Valencia from Barcelona or is the three hour train the best way to travel ? Also how about travel to Sevilla from Valencia ? Train or bus? Any suggestions will be greatly appreciated. Thanks, Carla
