I will be in Europe for the fist time in Alril on business and plan to drive from Amsterdam to Milan over a weekend. I want my drive to include Bastogne and Luxembourg as my grandfather served here in WWII. I am looking for suggestions on a place to stay in Bastogne or perhaps Luxembourg and woudl prefer a quaint hotel or even a bed and breakfast. any otehr tips woudl be appricated. The suggested route takes me through Strausbourg, Colma, Mulhouse, and Basel. thanks

That's a VERY long trip by car and a lot of places to stop inbetween, mostly because you have to travel through the heart of the Alps and Switzerland to get to Milan. It's not a fast trip, and April doesn't guarantee that passes will be 100% open.

Google puts it at 10 hours for the drive and I have 2.5 days to make it. should I be concerned?
