I will be arriving in Paris CDG in the morning. I may catch a Ryan air flight in the evening. What mode of transportation do you recommend between the airports? Thanks...
Assuming you want to spend the day in Paris, take the RER to Paris, store your luggage at Gare du Nord, and go exploring. Take the shuttle bus from Porte Maillot to Beauvais. The schedule is coordinated with Ryanair's arrivals and departures. You need to be at Porte Maillot 3 1/2 hours ahead of your departure time.
Marla....avoid the Ryanair flight. Check whichbudget.com for other discount flights between Paris and your destination, or post it here to see if someone can come up with a better airline for you. The transportation time will severely cut into your time in Paris, as Tim notes, the airline will charge you for baggage, and you may end up at an airport that is still another long bus ride from your destination. After taking into account the "fees" that Ryanair charges, many other airlines will come very close to whatever their tab is.
Thank you!
