We have a short time in Santiago de Campostela and would like to book transportation roundtrip from the airport to wait for us while in the cathedral and back to the airport. Does anyone know of any services I can prebook for 8 Sept 12? I would appreciate any assistance. Thank you Carol Horton

I think if I were you, for what you want to do, I'd just use local taxis. The airport isn't that far from town & from a little online research it looks like the fare each way is only about 20 euros. A private driver would surely be more expensive. Your other option would be local buses. I'm sure you'll be able to find bus info at the airport. I don't think you have to book anything in advance.

You'll find the taxi "rank" right outside the terminal. If you make it worth his while, I'm sure the driver will wait for you while you visit the cathedral. If you haven't been to the cathedral before, it's magnificent.
