Transportation Passes: Carnet or Navigo

We will stay at Marriott's Village d'Ile de France for 2 weeks Oct 23-Nov 7 and will want to get into Paris daily for visiting museums and other sites. We will also want to take day trips to Versallies and other notable places. What transportation pass would you recommend for 2 persons?

Marne-la-Vallee - Chessy (the station closest to Disneyland) is in zone 5. A single ticket between there and Paris costs €6.70 each way. So if you were to go into Paris each day and not take any separate rides while you're in the city, you would spend at leaat €13.40/day. A zone 1-5 Semaine (weekly) passe costs €33.40 and is good for seven days (Monday-Sunday). The Navigo Decouverte card on which you load the Semaine costs €5 and is good for ten years. Obviously this is your best deal for 25-31 October and 1-7 November. For 24 October you could buy one day, zone 1-5 Mobilis passes for €13.65. If you're flying into CDG on 23 October, then Mobilis passes won't work because they aren't good for getting to and from CDG even though CDG is in zone 5. (Your passe Navigo Decouverte will be good for getting to CDG on 7 November.) If you're arriving in Paris by train, you could buy Mobilis passes for 23 October.
