Transportation between Fontainebleau and Vaux le Vicomte

How can we travel between Fontaineblue and Vaux le Vicomte ? We can take a train from Invalides station and see Fontaineblue or to Melun to see Vaux le Vicomte We would like to do both in one day and return to Paris Invalides.Has anyone done this?
