Transportation between Charles de Gaulle Airport and Orly Airport

There are Air France shuttle buses (you don't need to be flying Air France) between CDG and Orly about every 30 minutes. The fare was about 16 Euro in 2007. The trip takes about an hour, depending on traffic. And here's a website with more info: Click Here

I am on a flight that gets into Orly at 10:30 AM and am leaving on a flight at 2:00 PM out of CDG. Would taking the metro be quicker as it looks like I will be cutting my bag check time very close if I use the average hour long shuttle?

Your fastest way, with no potential traffic jams to slow you down, is to take the Orlyval driverless shuttle train from Orly to the Antony RER station and then the RER B train to either CDG 1 or CDG 2 TGV. Be aware that the RER B line divides northeast of Paris. At Antony be sure to get on a train that is going to CDG.
