My husband and I going to Todtmoos, Germany next year for one week and then meeting up with family in Rome. Any advise on getting from Todtmoos to Rome that's affordable? I have one day to get between cities. Cities around Todtmoos are Freiburg, Basel, Zurich might be the largest city????
Well I poked around and found flights from Zurich to Rome for about 250 (return)per adult, using May dates ( since you did not specify your dates) . Perhaps a bit more info would help, actual dates, plus do you want to return or are you flying home from Rome .. ?
www.easyjet.com for Basel to Romewww.ryanair.com for Karlsruhe/Baden-Baden to Romewww.airberlin.com for Basel to Rome and Zürich to Rome
Sorry, we will be flying one way. Not going until Sept. 08. I did pull up easyjet and they had one way flights for under E100. Was not able to put in the exact dates. But this might be a choice for us. Have you flown on easyjet?
easyJet is a great and affordable airline but DO read the fineprint about baggage allowance. AirBerlin might come in cheaper on the bottom line.
Will make sure I read the fine print. We are traveling light. We went to Rome last year, did travel light but will definitely do better this time. Will compare both airlines. Thanks
Oh yes do watch your luggage allowance on the cheap airlines , they are very strict and will charge alot for over limits, that is one way they make some money! I have heard of people having to pay more for excess luggage then the price of their cheap ticket! LOL
