Greetings Rick, We are flying into CDC Paris on Air France and on to Rennes. We have an hour to connect with our flight to Rennes. Do we go through passport control in Paris or Rennes? Any suggestions for making tight connections. Thanks
You go through passport at CDG. I doubt you'll make the connection unless this is being ticketed by AF as one flight and they offer assistance.
You will go through passport control in CDG, and customs in Rennes (usually a matter of just walking through the "Green Channel - Nothing to De-clare" door). I've only connected at CDG once, and my 3 hour connection turned into a 1 hour connection due to a later departure. I made it with time to spare. That is one person's single story, for what it's worth (not much). If you start looking on line, you will see stories like mine, others who had to run but just made it, and others who missed the connection and had to be put on the next plane. Also common is that when you make a tight connection, your luggage doesn't - so be sure to have 1-2 days of necessary clothes, etc in your carryons (good advice anywhere).
