Trams and Tips for Switzerland

I will be spending a month in Switzerland this August and wondered if there were any books of tickets for mountain trams. Most of the time will be in the Berner Oberland and Upper Engadine - all suggestions very welcome

Transportation passes like the Swiss Pass are available which cover inter-city trains, municipal transport, cable cars, boats, buses, entry to most museums, and discounts for muntain trains/tams. There are lots of varieties available click the "railpasses" at the top of the screen for all the details.

corinne, You may find it helpful to have a look at the Thread in the "Transportation" section titled "Lauterbrunnen Rail Pass". There's a good discussion there on some of the options. I've been finding this is a somewhat complicated subject, and I'm still trying to work out the best options for my trip. You may find that one of the Regional Passes (ie: Berner Oberland Pass) along with some P-P tickets may be the best combination. Good luck trying to figure it out!
