How long of a trip is it from Venice to Munich or Salzburg?
Are there multiple train times to take or do you have just one choice and if you miss it you wait till the next day? Should we book it in the states? By what web site? Thank you, Bill

You can view the schedules at the Deutschebahn website, www.bahn.de (click to see it in English). There should be many choices. I don't think there's any need to book from the US unless you are taking a night train (I.E., with a sleeper).
