We plan to travel from Provence to Barcelona in October. We could take a train from Nimes (more picturesque?), or we could take a budget flight from Marseille (e.g., Vueling Airlines). Either way costs about the same, although the flight is, of course, quicker. Does anyone have a recommendation? Thanks so much!

I took the train and it worked great. As to "faster". Well, you have to add in the scorning time at your departure airport and the time to get to the city from the Barcelona airport. Just to avoid the mess that is air travel (not even counting potential delays) I would stick with the train
