I am trying to book a rail ticket for a fast train between Paris and Basel, Switzerland and then continue on to Interlaken. I have looked on three different websites (raileurope.com, sbb.ch, and bahn.com) for tickets and they do not agree, or I should say that each site lists some trains but not all. I have printed the schedules from each one to compare. Q: IS THERE A BETTER SITE THAT LISTS ALL OF THE RAIL OPTIONS???
bahn.de should be the best and R Europe the worst. Which dates are you using? If more than three months out, not all schedules will be posted.
I'm trying to book June 3.
I'm not sure why there should be a disagreement between Swiss Rail (SBB) and German Rail (Bahn), but RailEurope only lists trains for which they sell tickets, which are nowhere near all of the trains, and which are generally only the fastest and most expensive options. But, if you are trying to book a through connection from Paris to Interlaken, with a change in Switzerland, the Bahn will only show the trains whose schedules fit with each other. For more trains, try looking at just Paris to Basel or Basel to Interlaken Ost. I just looked at connections from Paris after 7 AM to arriving Interlaken Ost before 7 PM and found perfect agreement between the Bahn and SBB.
