I have a very tight, late night connection that I have to make... no other options that night. So that I have a chance of finding the correct train, does anyone know the final destination of the train going from Bordeaux-St Jean to Lourdes (TGV 8557/8556)? And a dumber question: For TGV trains in France, are all reservations-requiring trains (ie, not the regional, local trains)?
8557: http://reiseauskunft.bahn.de/bin/traininfo.exe/en/62268/201635/275100/116794/80?ld=9649&seqnr=8&ident=mn.01844549.1337889263&date=29.05.12&station_evaId=8700013&station_type=dep¤tReferrer=tp&rt=1& Tarbes Runs as TGV 8557 up to Dax, then as TGV 8556 Don't understand the second question.
Seat reservations are required on all TGVs. They come with the ticket and are included in the price of the ticket. There is open seating on regional trains and no reservations are possible.
