Train to Munich

We are visiting Dachau by car and then going to Munich for the day. We don't want to drive the car in Munich. Do you know where we can find a hotel between Dachau and Munich where we can catch the train to take us into Munich where we will get a hop-on-hop-offf city tour?

There is a train station in the town near Dachau that you can catch to Munich.
