Train Tix from Paris to Wengen

Hi,I have already ordered a Swiss Half Fare Card.

I need to make train reservation from Paris to Wengen.
Can you please tell me which of the following I should do?
. Only reserve a ticket going from Paris to Basel. Pay for the Basel to Wengen part of the trip on the train after getting on the train in Basel (with the Swiss Half Fare Card.)
. Reserve two separate tickets:
1. Paris to Basel
2. Basel to Wengen (with the Swiss Half Fare Card)
. Reserve one ticket going from Paris to Wengen -- how do I do this as both the
http://www.tgv-europe.com/
and the
http://www.sbb.ch
sites will only allow me reserve ticket which has less
than 3 connections
Thanks so much.

You don't really need reservations for the Swiss portion of this journey, and they are not even possible beyone Iterlaken (to Lauterbrunnen and up to Wengen).

You can book the ticket from Paris to Interlaken Ost,with one change at Basel, on the sbb.ch website. The ticket will include the compulsory seat reservation. Depending on the date of travel, you may be able to get a reduced price. Also, the website will allow you to price the ticket including the half-fare reduction from Basel on. The "special price" comes to 122 CHF; the normal price is 165 CHF, both with the half-fare discount applied from Basel to Interlaken.

You can just buy your ticket for Interlaken Ost to Wengen at the station when you get to Interlaken.

I think that is the simples way to do it.
